Launch X431 CRP129 HD is a 24V heavy-duty diagnostic scanner for trucks, buses and commercial machinery — a complete standalone tool, not an add-on module.

V1 or V2 — which to pick

The software and the vehicle coverage are the same. Both see the same trucks, European ones included. The only difference is the hardware:

• V1 — 16 GB storage, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz
• V2 — 64 GB storage, Wi-Fi 2.4 and 5 GHz

Screen, processor and battery are identical on both (3.97in, 1.3 GHz quad-core, 3000 mAh, Android 8.1).

Short version: get V2 if you update often and want room to spare. If you just need the diagnostics, V1 does exactly the same job.
